01 — Understanding NaIn
Nativa Ingredients is an industry-focused innovation platform powered by specialized ingredient solutions.
NaIn approaches commercial development from the context of manufacturers, their products, and the opportunities or challenges they are seeking to address. Rather than beginning with a fixed product catalog, it explores where specialized ingredients, technologies, and relevant capabilities may contribute to a meaningful solution.
The basic relationship is:
Manufacturer context
→ Opportunity or challenge
→ Relevant ingredient or technology exploration
→ Commercial development
→ Potential specialized ingredient supply
Each opportunity requires its own investigation. Public information about an ingredient or technology area does not by itself confirm availability, supply, technical feasibility, regulatory suitability, or commercial terms.

02 — Target Industries & Clients
NaIn currently focuses its commercial development primarily on small and medium-sized manufacturers in Colombia and Ecuador, within selected food and beverage industries where innovation, specialized ingredients, and ingredient technologies may contribute meaningful value.
Current target industries include:
Craft Brewing
Functional Beverages
Nutritional Supplements
Healthy Foods
Dairy Products
Coffee & Coffee-Based Products
Premium Bakery & Pastry
Snacks
Chocolate & Cocoa Products
Ice Cream & Frozen Desserts
Sauces & Condiments
Confectionery
Within these industries, the relevant client is typically a manufacturer with a product, development objective, performance challenge, innovation opportunity, or specialized sourcing need that may reasonably lead to specialized ingredient supply.
Commercial development should therefore begin with the manufacturer and its context—not with the assumption that a particular ingredient must be sold.

03 — Commercial Opportunities
A commercial opportunity begins with a manufacturer need, objective, challenge, or possibility that may warrant further exploration.
Opportunities may include:
New product development
Product improvement or reformulation
Product performance challenges
Ingredient or technology exploration
Innovation opportunities
Other relevant product or market needs
The collaborator’s role is to recognize and develop potentially meaningful opportunities—not to assume that every inquiry requires a specific ingredient solution.
A useful opportunity should provide enough context to understand:
What the manufacturer is seeking to achieve
What product or application is involved
What challenge or opportunity has been identified
What requirements or constraints may be relevant
What further investigation may be needed
An identified opportunity is a starting point for exploration. It does not by itself establish technical feasibility, ingredient availability, supply, regulatory suitability, or commercial viability.

04 — Commercial Development
Commercial development turns a relevant opportunity into a structured commercial conversation.
The collaborator’s role is to help develop that conversation by understanding the manufacturer’s context, identifying the relevant opportunity, and gathering enough information to determine what should be explored further.
Commercial development may involve:
Identifying and approaching relevant manufacturers
Understanding the manufacturer’s products, objectives, and challenges
Recognizing potentially meaningful commercial opportunities
Exploring relevant ingredient or technology territories
Gathering the information needed for further investigation
Maintaining appropriate communication and follow-up
Connecting the opportunity with the appropriate NaIn resources or next steps
The process is not necessarily linear. Different opportunities may begin at different points and require different levels of investigation.
A useful working progression is:
Manufacturer context
→ Opportunity identified
→ Initial understanding developed
→ Relevant ingredient or technology territory explored
→ Further investigation where warranted
→ Commercial conversation developed
→ Appropriate next step determined
The collaborator should develop the opportunity sufficiently to support informed next steps without making commitments that require technical, supplier, regulatory, or commercial confirmation.

05 — Operating Boundaries
Commercial development collaborators represent Nativa Ingredients in the exploration and development of potential commercial opportunities. Their role is to identify, understand, and advance relevant opportunities while maintaining clear boundaries around what has and has not been confirmed.
Collaborators may:
Identify and approach relevant manufacturers
Discuss manufacturer needs, objectives, challenges, and opportunities
Use NaIn public resources to support commercial conversations
Explore potentially relevant ingredient and technology areas
Gather information needed for further investigation
Maintain communication and follow-up with prospective clients
Coordinate appropriate next steps with NaIn
Technical or applied-development support may form part of developing a commercial opportunity when it is directly related to a prospective specialized ingredient supply opportunity and remains reasonable, bounded, and proportionate to that opportunity.
Development needs that become extraordinary or disproportionate require separate evaluation before any expectation or commitment is established with the prospective client.
Collaborators should not independently confirm or promise:
Ingredient availability or supply
Specific supplier availability
Pricing or commercial terms
Technical feasibility or product performance
Regulatory suitability or approval
Delivery times, volumes, or supply continuity
Exclusivity or other contractual conditions
Public references to an ingredient, technology, capability, or area of exploration do not by themselves establish that a specific solution is currently available or suitable for a particular opportunity.
When an opportunity requires confirmation beyond the collaborator’s established scope, the appropriate action is to gather the relevant information and refer the matter for further evaluation before making a commitment.
The objective is not to avoid developing opportunities, but to develop them with sufficient accuracy and discipline to support reliable commercial decisions.
